About last night... did you stop by?

Last night I went to sleep, having not slept well the night before. I expected a phone call later, and was looking forward to it. Woken at 1:00 am, or so, we chatted until he wished to end the call (7or 8 minutes, not that I was counting) and I tried to go back to sleep, a little mad that he had called to only want to end the call so soon. But I rolled over, slapping my pillows, and settle to sleep again.

However, something was bothering me. I felt something trying to get under my skin, so to say. Just… something in my mind. Like a force, power that did not belong to me. I tried to block it, to shove it back from were it came, but it just came right back, getting stronger.

Knowing I would never be able to sleep, I pulled the trusty laptop off the living room end table and went to back to bed, curled under the blankets. A few hours of playing online will dull my mind enough to sleep, and shove the invader to the very back of my mind.

About an hour and half later, around 3:00am, I felt relaxed enough to sleep, and the power that was not me, had left. Maybe I had release the fantasy, would be able to sleep now? Turned off the laptop, got all comfortable on my stomach, two pillows under my head, warm, but my head chilled…and relaxed, pushing away all thoughts but for one- sleep. 6:15 wake up call was just around the corner.

Then I felt it again. That funny feeling I was not alone, that someone or something was with me. I decided I was not going to put up with this shit, and I let my body and mind relaxed more. I gave into the feeling, and let it take me were it wanted me to go.

Mmmmmm. ;) That was very, very nice. About 10 minutes later, I slept like a baby in someone’s arms. Whose you ask? That is for me to find out, right? Not like he left a calling card. :)

Strange dreams... LOL

10:54 Oct 22 2006

It has been a strange night. I have slept three hours or so, and woken from two very strange dreams. Funny as hell, but strange.

First one has to deal with VR. It has been six months online here, and I posted a little smart-ass entry in my journal, party hats and such. Well- the dream took it even future. For some strange reason I was at a strippers club. A few of the males I know from VR, and a few I just lust after, were dancing for me, wearing briefs and thongs that had the Vampire Rave logo on them.

They were dancing to the song “Hot Blooded” and using the stripper pole, and stage. And I had an endless supply of dollar bills. Who was there dancing? Ohhh no. That is for me to know, and no one else. LOL I woke up, smile on my face. Rolled over to my side, hugged my pillow to me, and went back to sleep.

Only to have a really strange one then. I was at my sister Nightgame’s house, in the dead of night. I was humming the Mission Impossible theme song as I stealthily climb into her bedroom window, falling over her stuff, crash landing in a pile on the floor. I see my head pop up, looking about to make sure no one heard the loud crash I made. The house is quiet in the dark and I start that stupid theme song again. I crawl along the floor on my hands and knees, seeing she was not in her room.

I open her door, and enter the hallway. With the moves of Tom Cruise, I crawl down the floor, only cussing as I hit two or three children toys in the dark. As I close into the living room, I see her. She is reclined in her chair, wrapped in a blanket, asleep. I roll on the floor in a fancy move, only to hit a toy that started to play. I picked up the toy, curling my body to muffle the sound, holding my breath. The little song ends, and I look over to my sister. She stirs, but never wakes.

I start my Mission Impossible song again, place the toy back down and crawl the last few feet toward her. I flip onto my back, thinking being a spy takes a lot of hard work, and pull out a small flashlight. I turn it on and look at her calves, to see them- the ducky PJ pants. I smile, and turning off the light, move to kneel on my knees. This is what I was here for- the duckys. I frown, trying to figure out how to get them off her. In my dream, I decided I can pull at the ends, and they will come off her like how a tablecloth does for a magician. She would not feel a thing. Yes- that would work perfect.

I stand and reach ohhh so carefully under the blanket to grab a good hold of the pj’s at her ankle, and I say, “Come to mommy duckys” and yank. Her voice comes from the darkness. “WHAT THE HELL DO YOU THINK YOU ARE DOING?” I woke up laughing at that one and have been up since. I do not dare go back to sleep. Who knows were my strange little mind will take me?

Ahhh… but it leaves me plenty of time to start plan C to get my duckys.

So it begins...

She walked out of the woods into the clearing. The lake reflected the full moon light, as she looked upward to the castle on the hilltop. Darkness shrouded the forbidden castle. In her mind, she heard her father repeated warnings to never come here, but she felt she must. Not the reason why, but something was here she was to find, to see. Looking up at the darkness, she shivered not from the cold. She turned to return to her home, when she heard someone coming. She wrapped the dark clock around her and step behind a tree. The full moon… she loved the moon, always sneaking out to walk under its glow and power, but tonight she had came further then before.

She looked around the large tree, to see who else would be out… and her breath left her body in a scream. It was an animal, a wolf the size of a man. It bent down on its hunches to drink water from the lakes edge. He stood and let out a loud growl. She turned and ran, knowing it would chase her, kill her, as any animal would. She ran, her body scratched by the tree limbs and briars. She did not get far before she fell on the damp rotted leaves covering the woods floor. She landed hard on her knees and hands, the fall jarring her whole body.

She fell on her side, and watched as the animal came toward her. He stopped and let out a roar, making her cover her ears. Then she felt him. Like the animal before her, but different, in a way. She turns to see him running from the woods, rushing to stand between her and the animal. She felt her fear of the animal turn to fear for this brave man. He was tall, broad shoulders, dressed all in black. His midnight long hair shinning under the moonlight. He glanced over his shoulder to her, and she felt her heart stop and start back, but at a different beat. “No brother- not her.” She watched as the … man growled at him, but not in anger. He turned back to his brother. “All is as it should be. Trust me” She watched in silence as the werewolf turns and walks away, giving her one last look… of warning.

As the man walked toward her slowly, she felt his concern, his desire not to frighten her any more then she was. He held out his hand to help her off the ground, his kind hazel eyes watching her as if she was a bird he was afraid would fly away. “You are safe now. I will never let anyone harm you” She felt it- the calming of his presences, the energy of him. The age of his soul. She reached up shyly and took his hand.

Thus, I awake from my dream.
